Teenya Creswell, MEd, LPC, CIMPH, CFMP
Hi, it's me Teenya.
I’m a licensed mental health therapist and a functional nutritional wellness consultant. While my background is in professional counseling, this practice is not therapy — it is wellness-centered, educational, and integrative in nature.
For over 20 years, I have worked as a licensed mental health therapist helping people navigate stress, overwhelm, anxiety, life transitions, and the challenges that come with being human.
Over time, I began noticing something important.
Many people were doing the emotional work. They were attending therapy, gaining insight, and learning new coping skills. Yet they still struggled with fatigue, brain fog, cravings, digestive issues, poor sleep, low motivation, and feeling disconnected from their bodies.
I became increasingly interested in the connection between the brain, the body, and the nervous system.
That curiosity led me to expand my training into functional nutritional wellness and the growing body of research surrounding gut health, inflammation, cellular energy, stress physiology, and overall well-being.

My Approach
Today, my work combines those two perspectives.
I believe our thoughts, emotions, nervous system, lifestyle habits, nutrition, sleep, and physical health are deeply connected. When one area is struggling, it often affects the others.
The Mind Meets Gut Method was created to help people better understand those connections and take practical, sustainable steps toward feeling more balanced, energized, and supported.
This work is not about perfection, restriction, or extreme wellness protocols.
It is about meeting your body where it is, understanding what may be contributing to your symptoms, and building realistic habits that support long-term well-being.
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and individualized. I listen carefully, respect each person's lived experience, and focus on creating a plan that feels achievable in real life.
Because lasting change rarely comes from doing more.
It comes from understanding what your body needs and learning how to support it consistently.
